OPENING keep cool ! On May 10th, under blue skies and Venetian sunshine, we opened “keep cool: Workshop for Cool Cities” in the heart of Santa Croce.
The exhibition is the first project initiated, curated, and organized by Salone Verde art & social club — and it set the tone for what we aim to create: space for critical dialogue, artistic perspectives, and social exchange. Together with @junglovesarchitecture, we hosted an engaging opening event focused on the challenges of urban heat and how we can rethink our cities for a cooler future.
The two featured installations artistically explore how simple, traditional methods from hotter regions of the world help us live with heat—without relying on high-tech solutions. Shade and natural airflow are used as key design elements to create cooling effects, offering inspiration for low-impact urban strategies.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special. We couldn't have imagined a better beginning!

The exhibition remains open during Biennale Architettura:
10 May – 23 November
10:00–18:00, Wednesday to Monday
Closed on Tuesdays
